The spam

i know the mods try there hardest to stop the spam etc but why havnt we just got a question on the registration page? something simple what spambots arnt going to know when registering for example
name of the band.
lead singer.
and so on ? and make it so they have to fill it in or they cant register? wouldnt this help the situation more then mods just deleting the spam?
just thought id add my opinion
