You should be able to enter a URL for your avatar, if it is on your computer then you can upload it to http://tinypic.com/ or somewhere to create a link. Let me know if you're still having trouble.

I know how to do all that. This is far from being my first forum lol, but it is literally not letting me do anything avatar related.
