NOT receiving "NEWS" emails etc etc

When I registered, the site said to wait for an email that would be sent to my email address so that I can validate my registration. Never got it but, yet I am able to post and log in.
This morning I read on FB about the free download single, apparently there was an email BE sent out. I didn't get that either.
Is anyone else exp. something like this?
