Beady Eye Slane Castle 2012

After both gigs in the Olympia, who reckons Beady Eye should headline Slane 2012 instead of f**king Kings of f**king leon and all that bollox, just like Oasis 2009. But forget about Oasis now its Beady Beady Beady f**king Eye. Lets 'ave it.

I was thinking along those lines after the Olympia the other night. I'm not sure Beady Eye alone would sell out a stadium gig on the back of one album. With Slane being 80,000 plus, I reckon they'd have no chance. I'm not even sure they could draw 40,000 in a football stadium to be honest.

Getting a bit carried away no? There was still tickets for the olympia gigs on the day (even though it was announced as a sell-out on the day of sale) and also tickets were going for face value on the usual sites leading up to it.. 2 olympia gigs was just right for them, thats about 4,000 people.

80,000?? I dont think so.

And who would want that anyway, Slane is a f**king shithole and the organisation of it dire.

Olympia is the best venue in the country.

haha your right lads.

i posted this last night in a bit of a drunken state while listening to a few tracks from thursday night so i probably got a bit carried away :D

although i reckon maybe Croke Park would be a great spot for another gig. maybe when they get another album and a few more b-sides under their belt and increase their fan-base

nice one for the feed back anyway tho :D:D
