Got to agree with him. Just listened to Radiohead's recent release and it is truly awful. Sounds like it's something they worked up in a week.

I cannot stand Radiohead, all their latest tunes have sounded the same with their stupid electronic beats and whiney sad lyrics. I don't undestand why the critics eat up everything they do. It's like they s**t gold. f**k em'

Once again, Liam is making a fool of himself. Radiohead named the album after a tree...they didn't write any songs about it. And he has never even attempted to understand their music, so it's a typically predictable response. Both bands write very different music...Beady Eye's, much like Oasis', is very accessible, relying primarily on hooks and upbeat melodies. Radiohead's, on the other hand, is more melancholic, experimental and often takes a number of listens to appeciate fully. Liam doesn't have to like Radiohead, but it is pointless him making remarks about a band he knows little about.

I get it, Radiohead isn't Beady Eye...but that doesn't mean they aren't good. Just because you find Radiohead's music to be a little too cerebrally challenging doesn't mean you have to hate on them. At least acknowledge the impact they have had within the music industry. (And before you form an opinion about a band, it's probably best to listen to a few of their albums first, which I'm guessing you haven't.)

Why dont radiohead get the "oasis" treatment about later releases ?????
Nothing they've done has lived up to the Bends or Ok Computer, but they keep getting off way too lightly for my liking.

Well actually, most critics and fans alike consider the likes of Kid A and, more recently, In Rainbows, to be on par with OK Computer and superior to The Bends.

The Bends for me is their best by a mile.
In Rainbows is ok, about 3 good tunes that stand out, Kid A the same. but foir an album as a whole it has to be the Bends.

To each his own. There is no denying The Bends is a fantastic album, but I personally think OK Computer is aeons ahead. In the end, it all comes down to individual tastes.

This is just a ruse by Liam to eat up more column inches in the tabloids and buffer sales.

I'm surprised youre taking this so seriously Luigi.

Haha, perhaps I'm a bit overzealous when it comes to Radiohead. I realise it's another of Liam's cries for attention, I just find it childish. I wish he would focus more of his energies on making great music, and ignore the tabloids. His antics are becoming tiresome.
