Yeah, I would love to read that interview... and I'm not the kind of person that reads magazines for interviews. 8-)

Liam Gallagher has told NME that he thinks Beady Eye's debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' contains songs "as good as 'Definitely Maybe', if not better".

The singer was speaking in a world-exclusive interview in this week's Christmas issue of NME, on UK newsstands tomorrow (December 15) and available digitally worldwide.

He declared the album, out February 28, a "fucking top debut".

Gallagher said: "The musicians are better [than Oasis circa-'Definitely Maybe'], without a doubt. I'm singing as well as I ever have." He added that the album is "up there, no question" with 'Definitely Maybe' and added that "we're gonna be f**king massive".

The parts that I pointed out had inserts from NME to "flesh out" the article im sure. The more it appears to be linked to Definitely Maybe the more buzz it will get and the easier it will be to relate the new music to something that might I say is.. familiar to millions.

I remember the days when people would scan in these articles!

Yes I am tight and do not want to line the pockets of the NME.

He's not singing as well as he ever has, he simply couldnt come close to live forever nowadays. Still, always sounds fine on record, i just hope he can sustain the notes whilst playing live :)
