He was using shure mics for live gigs with Oasis, but the ones in the video look much different. He could just be using it for "show" as they look cool and then revert back to the old style for the live gigs.

I've got Liams mic from the Eden Project gig on the last tour when he threw it into the crowd! Just need a tambourine now........

No idea, his usual mic is a Shure Beta 57a.
