I'm typing in from lovely Ann Arbor, Michigan. Nice to read that there are some fellow citizens of the United States of America here.

Actually, one time a friend of mine was at school (this was in high school a few years back) playing one of the guitars that used to be all over the place, arguing with one of my other friends about how bad their music taste was. Then they started playing/singing Wonderwall, and I was like, "Wonderwall?!" And he goes to my friend, "See, SHE even has better music taste than you do."

You find a few fans here and there around here. There's a regular on the L4E forums that's from around Dallas too. Half The World Away and Talk Tonight were both recorded in Austin, we are clearly loved. :D

well well well, lots of people from around this area then, eh?
about BTL i just can't like the song, no matter how much i want to like it, i just don't.
i hate the stupid retro piano and i can't stand the production(or lack thereof ).
"Sons of the Stage" on the other hand, i got it stuck in my head.
♪gotta get down to the noise & confusion... ♫♫
i really enjoy it. Liam's voice sounds a bit worn out but i still like it. the only problem i have is, again, the production... in this case, the song seems overproduced(imo) but it's still miles ahead of BTL.
too bad it's only a cover, right?

about people liking Nickelback... lol
it sucks but that's reality.
btw, they just announced who will perform @ the Superbowl's halftime show(which is in Arlington this year) and ...
it's the Blackeyed Peas, what a freakin' disappointment.
i was hoping to go, maybe if they could get someone like the RHCP or even Pearl Jam but the BEP suck, with their stupid songs and auto-tune crap.
