Hahhahha, of course, Jack. How are ya? I'm trapped in a government apartment block in Hawthorn East cos it was an emergency situation 6 years ago, but I grew up in Broadmeadows, so I'm all familiar with working class chic. :)

Plenty of us knocking about in St Kilda who'd pay through the nose to get our grubby little paws on some tickets for any Melbourne shows!

Gutted with Oasis never showed on the DOYS tour....do not let us down this time chaps....Fuck, I'll go door to door flogging tickets myself if that helps!

Yeah we really need a Melbourne gig (aswell as the rest of Oz ofcourse).

Where'd be a good venue? Ive only been to two gigs since being here and both venues weren't great. Wolfmother at the Espy was too small, would be great to see them that close up but unrealistic for the BDI guys to play there, and the Rod Laver..... saw Gorillaz there last month and the sound was s**t! plus the venue is proper sterile, got no soul.

I'm seeing Primal Scream next week at the Forum, hopefully that'll be a bit better. Would be good to see them at a central city show.

Come here after the Japan tour, it's not a million miles away!

C'mon, I've never seen such a quiet bunch of Aussy ever! Australian release is on the 11th of March for DGSS and you can pre-order the CD/DVD already from JB's for $20, not too bad. I expect Polyester in Melbourne will stock the vinyl, they're generally rather good when it comes to new releases and repressings.

Anyway... we need and Australian tour soonish :!:

Please :D

I'm not sure, I do not use iTunes. You can download The Roller/Two of a kind bundle from the Beady Eye store. I have downloaded WOMR and SOTS for free though (although i did buy the vinyl.

What a fuckin stupid bald f**k! Oasis never denied pulling an odd piece off The Beatles or Stones or whatever, That koch fuckwit says they keep denying that they copied them!!!! I am growing more and more sick of Australias attitude to good music.

If it was Jimmy barnes doing a Lennon rip off they would call it an act of genius..

And while im on slaggin off this s**t show, AFL gets 5 mins of news time and on a Thursday morning after champions league football gets 15 seconds!!!

Aussy TV is wank though int'it?! Although I haven't watched it (No way I am Turning off this CD 'till it's all done!), I can guess already!

Just posted this in the MUSIC section but just to let folk know, It's Out Now!!!!:

After Queueing outside my local music shop for 30 mins before they opened I got there to find out they hadn't had 'em in yet, no big deal... I headed back at lunchtime and they had them in. Of course I opted for the Deluxe edt. with DVD and that and I love the gatefold style sleeve, looked much better than the tacky standard jewel case version!

Booklet is mint, love the whole 1900's Music Hall feel to it, fits right in with the cover art work.

Anyway just got onto Millionaire and love it, now onto The Roller and I cannot wait for the rest of it as I have not heard any tracks but the singles and Beatles and Stones.

I shall update my opinion (not that it matters) on my first impressions on the rest of it soon.

For those of you forum members his side of the world JB's has the Deluxe one for $20, although I'm sure some indie stores will have it also Polyester, Missing Link and 'That place in Fitzroy' for Melbourne heads and Redeye and Hum would be a good bet for those in Sydney!

They best do sideshows! I'm not cool enough for BDO, I saw Primal Scream do Screamalica on a sideshow at the Forum, It was amazing. I'd rather pay $100 for one band than $200 odd for a load of s**t bands and then spending the weekend with hipster c**ts all to see one show!
