Hey fans of the Sharrock!
If anyone knows about Chris's gear, maybe this is the place to post it! Particularly his drumsticks - so ambiguous! Anyone know what type of Zildjian they are?

Hey,
If your looking for sizes I wld think they are about 5As but hard to tell coz he usually uses the wrong end of the stick... I know you can get sticks that aren't taperd but not sure if Zildjian do them...

Thx for the info so far! I'm also interested in knowing what kit he plays. I really can't make it out from the vids. :)

With Oasis on the last tour, he used a Premier Seires (Classic i think) kit
24" x 14" Maple Shell Bass Drum
14" x 10" Rack Tom
16" x 16" Floor Tom
14" x 5.5" Steel Snare Drum.
Obv in the quality chrome finish, don't think he's using the chrome finish with BDE but think its the same kit, deffo same set-up anyway.
He uses a mix of A's an K Customs
21" A Sweet Ride
14" K Mastersound Hihats
18" A Crash Ride
19" A Medium Thin Crash
17" K Custom Fast Crash.

You lookin to buy?? :P

i think i saw on the abbey road videos he is also using a zildjian a custom rezo crash (18" or 19"). these are great crash cymbals. i'm using one of these, too. i recommend it very much.

i'm pretty sure he is using the zildjian backbeats live (no anti-vibe because they feel like shit). 5a's for the radio stuff.
great drummer he is. love his style and sound.

For Oasis he just played with the sticks backwards, I'm sure he does the same thing now - so he probs uses the 5As then, that's cool to know. Haha I had anti-vibe ones once but did a Sharrock, threw them up, caught them on the wrong end, hit the drums, and that was the end of the anti-vibe sticks.
